This item is sooo fun. It’s not as loud as other people say and is sort of fast. It can hold lots of apps and see in the dark. Its controls are like a tank: left stick controls left motor, right stick controls right motor. The only downside is it needs 10 AA batteries and uses them up quickly and I wish they made the tracks longer and angled at the front and back so it can go over more obstacles. The carrying deck is a good idea and it says it can take attachments (coming out this year, don’t know when) using a usb port on it next to the pc port.

A few months back we looked into purchasing a similar table made by the folks that make the Thomas toys. After finding out how much it was, we started looking for alternatives. A local hobby shop had this table setup in their store for display purposes but didn’t sell it. After seeing my son play with the trains on the table and realizing it was just the perfect height for him, I went hunting.

We purchased this table as a Christmas gift for our nearly 3 year-old son. It was extremely simple to build… so much so that we were able to do it quietly on Christmas Eve. The construction is solid and a great quality. My only complaint is that the drawer sits a little low and you have to pull it up a bit when you pull it out. Even that is a very minor thing though so I’m not sure it’s a complaint.

The best part to me is that there is nothing painted already for you on this table. My son can continue to use this as he gets older for just about anything.

Bottom line… if you’re looking for an activity table, a table for a train set, or just a place to get some toys up off the floor and onto something a little easier to reach for your little one… this is the table for you!

INALLY! A castle for girls DIMENSIONS: 18″ W x 15″deep closed and 26″high (Including the flag) and an incredible 36″ or 3 FEET long when unfolded. Bigger than my daughter’s dollhouse, this princess castle is enormous, and folds out to be even bigger, it is natural wood with very pretty screened (not hand painted but still very nice) flowery decorations. We try to buy all wood toys (some painted some not) and this was, while not unadorned, a very beautiful alternative to the nauseatingly pink and plastic princess castles out there. The roof and turrets are pink accented with gold, a very nice and pretty touch. The quality is excellent, as are all Melissa & Doug items. Don’t even hesitate to get this one – your daughter will absolutely love it.

When you consider how unique it is, how beautiful and well-made it is, how BIG IT IS, and how now your daughter can have a castle to rival that of your son’s, it is well worth it. This is actually bigger than my son’s blue castle. My two play with theirs together and the hours of imagination and cooperative play with all the different story lines (his knights and her princesses) is just endless. May 2008: UPDATE: over a year later and this castle is still is perfect shape after hours and hours of play. The ONLY caveat would be the flag – it is held on by a magnet, which does make sense since if it had been glued on it would have broken off by now, but it gets lost easily and the castle looks so much prettier with the flag on. To contradict myself, being able to take it off easily lets my children act out “capture the flag” storyline.

I just have to move heaven and earth to find it when misplaced. I cannot believe how much this product has come down in price. I paid over [...] for this when it was first released. Now, with a lower price and Amazon Prime free shipping, you can’t go wrong. As a commenter pointed out, it is small inside for furniture, but, this is not really a dollhouse after all. Add the fantasy/princess figures, a unicorn for the unicorn stable and your children will be all set. UPDATE JANUARY 2009 I just purchased the M&D matching princess furniture. The castle has held up to much playing and still looks brand new. After the Tinkerbell movie, it became a fairy castle.

The Papo fairy and princess doll figures, Tales and Legends I think, fit perfectly, too. The Disney princess figurines (the mini ones, favorite moments) are a good size also. I am still very happy with this purchase and daughter is still playing happily with it. Our local upscale toystore has this for just under a hundred dollars. Amazon’s price is still the best around.

We found that it’s best to carry the house from its bottom, rather than grasping any part of its sides, to make sure it stays intact. The painted exterior can also be relatively easily scratched, and an overly exuberant child could also damage the hinged doors. However, if just a little bit of care is taken with this beautiful house, it will weather time very well and can be passed down to future generations.

This is a fantastic dollhouse. Came with lots of little wooden furniture pieces AND the dolls. My 3 year old plays with it almost every day. Construction is good except for the upper floor which pulls off easily when picked up by the roof. May end up gluing that piece on permanently, but otherwise easy to put together and well constructed. We got this at a great sale price on Amazon and I see it was obviously QUITE a deal because now it is over $50 higher than what we paid! Overall, I think this is a great toy that will last quite a long time. Very happy with purchase. And I am always happy with the shipping time from Amazon. Very fast!

I bought this as an early XMas present to myself, I was pretty excited and had my hopes high… it was between this and the Wii… boy am I glad I got the XBOX!!! First off it’s the showing off to your friends! And it’s so much fun when it’s a group… even my husband’s older cousins enjoy the games!

It’s extremely accurate in the movements, I haven’t had any lagging issues or anything with any of the games.

The only minus part is that I had to clear out my living room even though it says 6-8feet it requests around 10feet in reality, and since I just got it and am playing everyday I had to move everything around and now I have to explain everytime someone comes in

The games I have so far: Dance Central (Really cool!) Adventures, and Sports… the last one is everyone’s favorite!

I was looking for a basic sleeve to protect my iPad and Apple wireless keyboard while stowed inside my backpack. This case fit the bill perfectly. Additionally, the quality of design, materials, and construction FAR exceeded my expectations considering what I paid (under $15).

General comments:
Basic sleeve design for a netbook or iPad, as advertised. The construction is high quality, especially for the price. The material feels sturdy in hand, but is exceptionally light. Both sides of the sleeve are padded (neither side is rigid). The interior surface is smooth nylon. The interior portion of the zipper is protected from contents by a lip of fabric which, by its design, does NOT get caught up in the zipper. The zipper itself runs from the top left corner of the sleeve all the way down the right side of the sleeve, giving you the flexibility to only open the sleeve from the top or open it up more widely. Accented patches at the bottom and front center are a nice touch, providing good grip points.

iPad specific:
Bought the sleeve to house my iPad. Was despairing because I could not find a simple case to house both my iPad and my Apple wireless keyboard. Thought I would be forced to leave the sleeve open at the top with the keyboard sticking out. To my surprise, the iPad AND keyboard fit nicely together in the sleeve. The keyboard takes up the maximum height of the case, but the zipper closes nicely without being forced or rubbing, even with the iPad inside also.

Great quality lock!

Z-Wave allows me to program and monitor the lock activity remotely. Customizable pin codes allow you to identify who is entering the house or you can have your Z-Wave system send you a text message.

The lock is of very good quality and eliminates the need for a key. I started using combination locks when my children would come home and needed a key to get in. No more hiding a key or losing the key that was in the backpack.

I have a Vera2 system and am not using Schlage link. The Vera2 works well with the lock.
