“Our” favorite feeder
My hummers had no trouble switching from the basic bottle feeders to this saucer, and I love it because it’s the oh-so-easy to clean. The built in ant moat dries out rather quickly, but I basically fail to fill it anyway, and haven’t had any ant problems at all. I now have 2 of these feeders, that hang from shepherds hooks, and there’s no leakage problems whatsoever. Remember: change your sugar water frequently; every few days, to avoid spoilage. I highly recommend this feeder.

After reasearching all of the feeders, I was going to go with the Aspect Hummzinger but, I read that the birds have a hard time finding the flower since it was red like the rest of the feeder. I found this one with yellow flowers and decided to go with it instead. Wow, I had it out for less than an hour and I started seeing little hummers everywhere. I am so suprized! I had another new feeder out the day before that was a purple glass with a yellow flower and it was not even seen by the hummers. I am all for this feeder!!! Plus I am exiceted that it will be easy to clean. I don’t want anything that I have to buy a bottle bush to clean. I am so happy already!!!

You can’t buy a better feeder
This feeder is the best I’ve had, and I have had a bunch. It has a huge capacity so you don’t have to fill it very often. It is almost impossible for squirrels to stand on and if they manage to get a foothold their weight closes the feeding ports so they can’t get anything. You can adjust it to exclude large birds such as starlings and grackles. When it needs to be cleaned you just put it in the dishwasher.

When an especially crafty squirrel tried to chew it’s way in to my feeder I informed Brome about the damage and they sent me a replacement part for free! Squirrel busters have a lifetime warranty against squirrel damage. I have had mine for about 3 years and couldn’t be happier with it. If you only have one bird feeder in your life this should be the one.

The best feeder!
This is the second Squirrel Buster feeder I’ve bought. I’ve had the first one for over five years and am replacing an old feeder (not a Squirrel Buster). This feeder is the best feeder made to discourage squirrels from emptying seed. Our area is loaded with squirrels and they have tried everything to get to the seed in the feeder, with no luck. One time they did damage the feeding ports in an attempt to get at the sunflower seeds and when I contacted the company, they sent me a new part at no charge.

Another time these darned squirrels actually chewed on the metal lid and again, the company sent me a new part. I would not hesitate to recommend this feeder to anyone, especially if you are bothered by raiding squirrels. The feeder is well made and holds quite a bit of seed (I use sunflower seeds in it)and is very easy to clean. It is well worth the cost. The customer service I’ve received from this company is absolutely top-notch.
